Abstract

This paper aims to offer data on 18th and 19th Century post mortem inventories and dowry letters to interested researchers. The information given is presented in an easy and friendly way in a Microsoft Access database. By making several types of searchers, researches can observe how consumption has evolved, how modernity has come, and how significant changes have taken place, almost inadvertently, thus making the transition to modernity or keeping on traditional consumption patterns.
