Abstract

This article is aimed at studying the socio-political crimes dealing with cohabitation and adultery in the area of the current region of Cáceres around the year 1500. This behavior will be analysed as a consequence of the introduction of the Christian Marriage in that period, monogamous and indissolu- ble, and its sanction regarding the exigences of the new ways of thinking and the the State, which arise due to the overcoming of the Late Middle Age crisis.
