Abstract

This study focuses on the domestic spaces used by families of retail merchants in the city of León during the period 1700-1850, analyzing theirs homes, all the rooms and their functionality according to the pieces of furniture and interior decoration. The main objective is to find out the changes and novelties produced with the arrival of the new bourgeois fashion.
